One of the trees in a backyard after the second snowfall of the year. This much snow isn't typical, due to the wind.

Another backyard tree.
This is a flowering crab apple tree, with the branches blown to the east.

Notice the lean to the trees in the background. The west is on the left. The prevailing winds in Medicine Bow come from the west.

A view down one of the main streets in Medicine Bow.

A different view down the same street

A former bank that has been converted into our Senior Center.

An unused corral that still stands in town.
Current town zoning prohibits keeping farm animals in the town limits, but this historical corral, and the barns attached, have been grandfathered in.

A local porch after the second snowfall of the year.

Part of a herd of deer that has taken up residence in town this Winter.
The herd can be seen most any day foraging along Maple Street.

A view of Turpin Reservoir near Medicine Bow and Elk Mountain.

Another view of Turpin Reservoir.

A bluff just north of Medicine Bow after the first snowfall of the year.

The same bluff, north of Medicine Bow, later in the winter with more snow.

A view of the Medicine Bow River, looking east, after the first snowfall.

Another view of the Medicine Bow river.

Medicine Bow River after the first snow. Can you see the ducks?
