East Allen Lake
East Allen Lake has great fishing
year round, and with public rest rooms, your comfort is
taken into account. There are two entrances into East Allen Lake, the
lower one has restrooms and rougher ground, the upper one has
restrooms, and spots suitable for camping. Campers should insure
that they have either an RV, or a VERY sturdy tent, since high
winds are unimpeded in this area all year around. Campers should
also be on the alert for badger holes, to avoid placing their
tent over them, and to avoid injury at night. Pack out your
trash please.
Known for its ice fishing and
summer trout fishing, East Allen's Father's Day
"Fishing
Derby" is
renowned for its prizes for "Fish of the
Day."
East Allen Lake is on the way to
the "Miracle Mile of Fishing."
