Old Dip Bar and Diner

The world's largest Jade Bar is located in the Dip Bar. The forty foot
bar was cut from a four-and-a-half ton boulder, found near
Rock Springs, WY. It was cut and installed by Gem Gallery of
Rock Springs.
Proprietor Bill
Bennett, local woodcarver and artist, has adorned the Bar
and relatively new diner with paintings on the ceiling,
floor, walls, and tables. Carved and painted replicas of
numerous Indian apparel and artifacts, as well as authentic
Old Ranch artifacts, add flavor and Spirit of the Old West
to the entire
building.
The Dip derives
it's name from the Diplodocus Dinosaur, the remains of which
were found nearby.
The Dip Bar is located on Highway
30, near the 487 junction.
