A group of wonderful ladies (Alice Irene, Agnes Heward, Amanda Schmale, Florence Ellis, and Hazel Morgan) enjoyed a visit during a tour of the Medicine Bow Museum in June 1988.

 

 

 

An early photo of one of the giant wind turbines, prior to the time when the nacelle is hoisted to the top, also shows Elk Mountain in the background and an interesting cloud formation.

 

People of all ages and from many different locations were featured in photographs in the Medicine Bow Post. Jacob Moffett, the 10-month-old son of Gary and Cathy Moffett of Medicine Bow, is ready for mail at the town's U.S. Post Office during the cold month of March in 1982.

 

 

 

The Medicine Bow Post camera traveled to Washington, D.C. in 1982 to take this photo of Katharine Graham, the publisher of the Washington Post newspaper. Mrs. Graham was very nice and interested in the small Wyoming newspaper that had conducted a reporter exchange with her Washington Post.
