A look at recent Medicine Bow History through the eyes of the Medicine Bow Post
The monthly series of the Medicine Bow Post Scrapbook premiered on this
Medicine Bow town website in Jan. 2001. I'd like to
thank Mayor Gerald Cook, theMedicine Bow Town
Council, and website manager Laura Wheeler and
Adventure Tech (now Firelight Web Studio). The pages will look great because
of the wonderful computer talents of Laura. I have
the easier task of just supplying photos and text.
Founded in 1977, the Medicine Bow Post was
published for 11 years by my family and me, before
we donated it to the University of Wyoming
Journalism Department which operated the newspaper
for an additional five years. The Post had
subscribers from almost every state and Canada.
Unless identified otherwise, all photos were taken
by me and are the property of the Post and/or the
Roberts family. I hope all website visitors enjoy
this scrapbook and the memories of past days in
Medicine Bow. Thanks!

Post founder, publisher and editor.
